Draft images stolen from Quanto Computer, one of Apple’s suppliers, revealed the company’s new MacBook plans.
Apple introduced the iPad Pro and iMac models with M1 processors on April 20, while also working on new MacBook Pro models. If you recall, the recently published report stated that MagSafe will return with the next-generation MacBook Pro, and these models will have more ports.
Although there has been no official statement from Apple about the allegations, Quanta Computer, one of the company’s suppliers, was recently cyber-attacked, and some draft images purporting to be of the next-generation MacBook Pro model were also seized by hackers.
MacRumors was able to access these stolen draft images. According to the leaked draft images, the right side of the next-generation MacBook Pro will feature a USB-C/Thunderbolt port, HDMI connection, and SD Card, reader. Also, on the left side of the device, we are greeted by two USB-C/Thunderbolt and MagSafe charging slots.
The model, codenamed “J316”, is also said to be a 16-inch MacBook Pro. It is also claimed that this leaked model will not have the Touch Bar, according to a draft image circulating on Twitter at the same time. Also, another report underlines that the model in question will have rounder lines.
