Apple makes an average profit of $151 million every day, according to research by Fintech company Tipalti.
Fintech company Tipalti, together with its research based on the Fortune 500 list, revealed the enormous revenues that the world’s leading companies generate every second. At the top of tipalti’s list is Apple, which has a market value of over $2 trillion.
The fintech company says the Cupertino tech giant generates $1,752 per second, $105,116 per minute, $6.3 million an hour and $151 million a day. Comparing these revenues, the company also notes that Apple’s hourly profit equates to 6,307 iPhone 12 Pros.
As you know, Apple was recently fined $308.5 million for infringing its digital rights management (DRM) patent. In fact, although this figure is astonishing from the outside, we see that this penalty only equates to a two-day profit from Apple.
In addition, Tipalti’s report does not include only companies that make a profit. Tesla lost $27 million per second ($2.7 million a day), the fintech company said, while Uber, also one of the world’s largest passenger carriers, lost $270 per second. That’s a loss of $23.3 million per day.
Apart from technology companies, one of the companies on the list that stands out with its revenues is Bank of America. Bank of America also makes a profit of $870 per second and $75 million a day, according to Tipalti.
