A new review by analyst Min-Chi Kuo says Apple has quality problems, for example, one of the suppliers of video cameras for standard iPhone 12 models. After Apple postponed the launch of iPhone 12, it is expected that the development of problems with suppliers will affect the extension of this delay. Apple wants to find a solution to the iPhone 12 camera problem before launch.
Ming-Chi Kuo, known for his forecasts, said Genius Electronic Optical identified problems with covering wide-angle camera lenses for 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch XDiPhone 12 models. The problem occurred during the high temperature/humidity test, and Genius should supply new components for the approaching iPhone 12. In total, Apple has 3 suppliers that are working on the production of lenses for cameras.
Largan, another Apple lens supplier, told Kuo he had no quality issues. It is noted that Apple can give priority in the launch program of consumables from Largan in order to avoid delays. In Kuo’s statement: 5.4 inches and 6.1 inches of aluminum frame iPhone 12 believe that the quality problem of low-quality 7-megapixel wide-angle lenses can be solved from mid-August to mid-September.
Last week, Apple announced that the iPhone 12 series will be released a few weeks after the usual release.
