The Apple AirTag apparatus has become official, ensuring it never disappears again by attaching it to items you’ve forgotten all the time. Apple AirTag features and price are in our news.
AirTag, Apple’s long-claimed wireless tracking apparatus, became official at this year’s spring event. Equipped with important features, Apple AirTag lets you remember your belongings.
Apple AirTag features and price
Apple AirTag is working on the firm’s U1 near-field broadband chip, allowing you to keep track within a specific area. With the Bluetooth LE standard, it can position much more precisely. You can use rich reality areas for positioning.
The apparatus, which can give audible warnings with its built-in speaker, offers up to a year of battery life and can be replaced. Thanks to its community feature, it can re-send locations to its user via a nearby iPhone, even if the apparatus is out of your scope.
The Apple AirTags debuted at Apple’s spring event on April 20, 2021, with preorders starting April 23 with sales starting April 30.
AirTags start at $29 / £29 / £20 / AU$45 for one or $99 / £99 AU$149 for a four-pack.
Given their similarity to Tile, we could compare those prices: the standard Tile Mate costs $25 / £20 / AU$40, so the prices are pretty comparable – and with the new AirTags Apple is allowing you to engrave each one for free, so you’ll know which is which if you buy many.
