The App Store is currently shown ads in two places; In the search tab and in search results. As of today, ads will begin to appear on the home page and application pages.
With the new App Store ad layout, iOS application developers will now be able to place ads outside the search tab and search results. Today, ads will be shown in a part of the tab, the same blue banner/background as search ads. Since users will have ads when they first open the App Store, we can say that there will be an advertising order that will bring good income for both Apple and application developers.
Other ads come directly to the product pages. This means that developers can now place ads on product pages for other applications. At the bottom of the product page, ads will be under the title section showing other applications of developers. However, developers will not be able to advertise the application they want on the product page. Ads will be relevant to each of the product pages. This means that developers will directly see their competitors’ ads on the application pages.
