Android 12 will be officially unveiled at this year’s Google I/O event. The promotional video of the operating system, about which we have learned most details so far, has been leaked. The video, shared by a YouTuber, provides detailed information about what’s coming with Android 12. The introduction also noted changes to the interface of the operating system.
Android, which brings the vast majority of smartphones to life, implemented its first major design change with Lollipop 5.0. With this update, the Material Design language adopted by Google came into our lives more after Android 9. There have been minor interface changes in versions up to Android 11 already in use. However, no major innovation was made.
It turns out that Google has made a major design change with Android 12, similar to what it did in Lollipop 5.0. US YouTuber Jon Prosser shared a video of the Android 12 presentation at the Google I/O 2021 event. Leaked footage before the event, which is expected to take place on May 18, shows: From the notification bar to the volume slider, widgets, and in-app icons, it seems that each object has been redesigned.
Google has put a lot of effort into ensuring visual integrity on Android 12. The fact that application windows and icons with rounded lines are all at the same level is one of the biggest indicators of this. It was also not overlooked that a pink-white mixture tint would prevail in the operating system.
Android 12, which uses Google’s font, will of course not be able to reflect these changes on all phones. Because each smartphone manufacturer produces its user interface. The pure state of Android is in the background. That’s why those who want to experience innovations need to buy a phone with stock Android installed.
Theme support, which exists on almost all smartphones, will become the default with Android 12. This means that the theme of the operating system can be changed without the manufacturer having to develop that feature extra. Users will then be able to give their phones a different look at any time.
Android 12 is expected to be unveiled at the Google I/O 2021 event on May 18. So what do you expect from the new Android?
