In a written statement to Bloomberg, the company said no decision has yet been made on whether to suspend production of the Galaxy S21 FE. Speculation began to spread after Korean media outlet ETNews reported.
ETNews had claimed that the company had stopped production of the Galaxy S21 FE due to a shortage in the supply of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. However, editors removed the related story from the site after Samsung’s official announcement.
The South Korean company did not directly deny ETNews’ report. Most likely the device will be released, but there will be sagging on the release date. It was previously announced that the smartphone would be released on August 19.
