AMD has promised to CES 2020! New products on the way

Along with a discarded Twitter post, AMD announced it will hold an event for the CES 2020 on Monday (January 6th). With the CES 2020 to be held in early January, many companies will introduce their products. According to CEO Lisa Su, AMD aims to provide a high-performance experience with its products in 2020 and raise the bar.

In particular, the company is expected to introduce several products from the Threadripper processor and Radeon graphics card series.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X surprise can come in CES 2020

AMD can introduce several products with the CES 2020. One of them is probably the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X. The processor, which was pre-promoted in November, is expected to be launched with this event. The Ryzen Threadripper 3990X has a full 64 cores and 128 monitors. The product also includes a 288 MB cache and 280W TDP. The processor can be used with TRX40 motherboards.

Apart from the flagship Ryzen Threadripper 3990X, the Ryzen Threadripper 3980X can also be introduced. The processor, which comes with 48 cores and 96 threads, aims to disable the Intel Xeon W-3175X.

Together with the conference, we can also see the Ryzen 4000 series mobile processors, which we recently reported. In addition to the 6 cores and 12 monitors, AMD wants to bring 8 cores and 16 processors into the mobile space. The new mobile processors will be built on 7 nm production and will use the Zen 2 architecture. We will see AMD’s new products this year with many partners such as ASUS, MSI, HP, Lenovo and Dell.

The AMD Radeon 5600 XT graphics card is another product that can be seen with the CES 2020. The graphics card, which will use the 7 nm GPU architecture, has similar features to the Radeon 5700. However, in order to offer a more affordable price, AMD has cut the VRAM and Mhz. The card is followed by the NVIDIA 1660 Ti and 1660 SUPER family.

Small information can be given about the 4th generation desktop Ryzen processors and Radeon cards with RTX features.

What do you think about CES 2020 and AMD’s new products?
