Oppo, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, published the technical details of the Reno5 Lite, the new mid-segment smartphone model with a MediaTek processor, on its official website.
It was known that China’s Oppo was preparing to launch the Reno5 Lite, a mid-range smartphone on the MediaTek platform, and now this device has been published on the company’s website.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.43-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Let’s note that the screen of the device covers 90.8% of the front panel. The selfie camera consists of a 32 megapixel sensor (f / 2.4) placed in a small hole in the upper left corner of the screen. The main camera has a four-component design: a 48 megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel matrix and a unit with wide-angle optics (119 degrees) and a dual 2-megapixel sensor.
Reno5 Lite is using mediatek helio P95 on the processor side: this processor combines eight computing cores and a graphics accelerator IMG 9XM-HP8 with a clock frequency of up to 2.2 GHz. The unit responsible for power is a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 4310 mAh that supports 30 watts of VOOC charging.
There will be only one configuration for the Reno5 Lite: a storage unit with 8 GB of RAM and a capacity of 128 GB. The device also includes a Bluetooth 5.1 controller, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Measuring 160.1 × 73.2 × 7.8 mm and weighing 172 g, the smartphone will come out of the box with the Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 operating system. It is not yet clear what price tag oppo Reno5 Lite will have.
