Alcatel announces two new entry-level phones
Introduced at IFA 2019, the Alcatel 3X offers an entry-level 3-camera package and a notched display. Alcatel 1V comes with Android Go operating system under $ 100.
In the smart phone market, the Chinese TCL has started its adventure with its own brand on the one hand and continues its way with the Alcatel brand on the other. Two entry level smartphone models were introduced at IFA 2019.
Alcatel 3X – Specs and Price
In the Alcatel 3X, a 6.52-inch screen with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels welcomes us. With a water drop notch and a relatively thin lower jaw, the phone’s front panel has a frameless appearance. On the back there is a triple camera package and a fingerprint reader.
Powered by an 8-core MediaTek chipset, it features 4GB / 6GB RAM and 64GB / 128GB storage capacity. The 4000mAh battery can easily take a day off.
On the back there is the main sensor with 16MP resolution, wide angle sensor with 8MP resolution and depth sensor with 5MP resolution. The front camera is 8MP. Alcatel 3X base version is set at 149 euros.
Alcatel 1V – Specs and Price
Alcatel 1V is actually an Android Go phone. In this respect, the features are much more entry-level. It features a 5.5-inch 480×960 pixel display. An 8-core processor is supported with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.ü
With a 5MP resolution camera on the back and front, the 2460mAh battery may not last long. The price tag of 79 Euros will also have a 3GB RAM memory option.
