Nicolas Pepe fought with Arteta after Mesut Ozil in Arsenal
The turmoil continues in the English team Arsenal. After Mesut Özil, a Turkish-born German footballer, was excluded from the squad, Nicolas Pepe was added to the names who were disrupted by manager Mikel Arteta. The Ivory Coast star footballer, who was transferred to the London team to a huge figure of £ 72 million, complained about not getting enough time.
Speaking to Canal Plus from the French press, Pepe said:
My goal is to play more. A player will be happy if they play. If I take more time I will be able to laugh again. Arteta wants me to concentrate 100 percent throughout the match. I see that I will remain in reserve during the training sessions. Whatever player it is, this is annoying.
Nicolas Pepe, who transferred to Arsenal from Lille in 2019, scored 11 goals in 54 matches.
