Danish doctor Eriksen survived CPR

In the 43rd minute of the match, Denmark’s star player Christian Eriksen collapsed on the ground without the ball. Health officials intervened with Eriksen, who remained motionless on the ground.

While paramedics gave CPR to Christian Eriksen, the actor was taken out on a stretcher.

In the official statements made through various channels after the incident, it was stated that Christian Eriksen was hospitalized and the actor’s condition is stable and conscious.

Danish National Team Doctor Morten Boesen described what happened after Eriksen fell on the ground:

“We were called to the field when Christian fell to the ground and he was breathing when we went to him. We felt his pulse but it got worse very quickly. We got him back with CPR. Fortunately, he held on to life and I talked to him before I went to the hospital.”

After Eriksen’s collapse, the break resumed. Finland took a 1-0 lead in the 59th minute through Joel Pohjanpalo’s goal. There were no more goals in the remaining minutes and Finland won by one goal. Finland then won its first match in European Championship history and started the tournament with 3 points.
