Starting tomorrow, all free and premium Spotify users will have access to three new personalized mixes inspired by the Daily Mix. The music streaming service will create custom Daily Mixes for you by combining your favorite tracks with music they think you’ll love.
These new mix categories will start with the music you’re listening to and update with songs selected by the service’s algorithms. But he’ll have clearer names. It will group tracks in playlists by artist, genre, and decade. For example, Spotify will create a Mix of the 90s for you, especially if you like 90s boy bands. Are you a Lady Gaga fan? You’ll also see a Lady Gaga mix. If you’re in the mood to listen to a variety of artists, you can access one of the genre mixes on your list, such as Pop Mix or R&B Mix. Spotify says the mixes will be updated frequently and consist of several playlists. To listen to one of the mixes, simply go to the Dec.
Spotify has recently made it easier to create your own playlists as well, if you prefer to listen to your own mix. It has updated desktop and web apps to suit the feel of its mobile app, adding new controls that allow you to use an integrated search bar to search for songs and podcasts. Now you can also write comments, upload pictures, and drag and drop tracks to existing playlists in desktop and web apps. Spotify, which is already the most preferred music listening app, is still developing its platform.
