Fully electric SUV Volkswagen ID.4 introduced

ID.4, Volkswagen’s first fully electric SUV model, was officially introduced.

Volkswagen continues its electric vehicle breakthrough with ID.4 after ID.3. ID.4, the second model to be produced based on modular electric platform technology, is the brand’s first fully electric SUV model. In this context, Volkswagen plans to launch around 75 fully electric models by 2029 and sell approximately 26 million electric vehicles during this period.

Volkswagen announces that it wants to melt a muscular structure with aerodynamics in the same pot with ID.4. With the strong shoulder line, the vehicle body has been provided with more acceleration. When designing this model, the German manufacturer focused on minimizing weight.

The electric SUV series, which is produced in limited numbers and will be offered to the European market before the end of 2020, is offered in Volkswagen ID.4 1 and ID.4 1 Max versions and in four different color options. The Exterior Style package also comes with a number of additional features such as a black roof and black door mirror housings, silver-colored C-pillars and roof rails.

IQ. In ID.4, which aims for a safer and more comfortable driving experience with Drive semi-autonomous driving assistance systems, a 10-inch touch screen with voice control and the smart ID.Light concept extending along the cockpit are offered as standard.
