Space company Virgin Galactic has postponed testing of spaceflight. The company states that it needs more time for the necessary technical checks.
Virgin Galactic determined it needed extra time for “technical checks” while conducting pre-flight work, and SpaceShipTwo postponed the test flight, CNBC reported. The space company did not specify when it might try the new flight again.
Virgin Galactic cancels flight for second time
Virgin Galactic was previously required to carry out the December flight, which ended with a rocket engine failure, as a result of its res planning. However, the space company failed to fix what it believed was a solution.
Virgin, which plans to re-test this weekend to verify its fix, cancelled the flight and said it needed more time.
In addition, the company’s focus is on two more test flights before shifting to full-fledged commercial service. In addition, it is stated that the company, whose stock is rising rapidly, experienced decreases in the value of the stock market after this cancellation.
