British Prime Minister Boris Johnson married his fiancee Carrie Symonds in a secret ceremony at Westminster Cathedral. Soon came the first shot from the wedding, which was the number one agenda in the UK.
Prime Minister Johnson, 56, married his fiancee Symonds, 33, in a small ceremony of 30 people attended by family members and friends at Westminster Cathedral.
The Sun newspaper reported that the cathedral, which is open to visitors, was evacuated at 1.30 pm and the ceremony was held.
Johnson’s secret wedding quickly topped the nation’s agenda. The British press got the first photos from the wedding.
The couple, who got engaged in 2019, moved into the prime minister’s residence after Johnson became prime minister, becoming the first couple to use it unmarried.
The couple have a son, Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson.
Johnson has four children from his last marriage, which ended in 2018, and one from an extramarital affair.
