The Malian woman gave birth in Casablanca, Morocco, and gave birth to 9 children, 5 of whom were girls and 4 of whom were boys.
Malian citizen Halima Sisi gave birth by cesarean section at a health facility in Casablanca, the Financial Health Ministry said.
The mother and nine children were recorded as being in good health.
Halima Sisi was found to be carrying seven babies during tests in Mali’s capital Bamako, and was then transferred to Morocco on March 30 to monitor her health, but gave birth to nine babies at birth.
It was also stressed that maternity expenses were covered by the country’s interim government.
