A 4-month-old kitten has died in the United Kingdom after being infected with the coronavirus from its owner, a report in the world-renowned Forbes magazine said.
Scientists at the University of Glasgow in Scotland have announced that people infected with the coronavirus can infect their pets at home.
Experts announced two cases of infection and said the owner of a four-month-old cat named Ragdoll had been infected with the coronavirus. The cat, the Ragdoll, was pronounced dead with symptoms of the coronavirus.
Another cat, on the other hand, was noted to be healthy after showing mild symptoms. Forbes explained that the diseases experienced by cats are published in the journal Veterinary Record. Professor Margaret Hosie, who led the research, said they were carefully monitoring cases of infection and needed to better analyze the risks.
