The cargo ship “Ever Given”, which ran aground in the Suez Canal, has reportedly been rescued.
The Suez Canal Administration announced that the ship had been floated again and traffic was continuing to flow through the canal.
The Evergreen company said the status of the already loaded cargo will be assessed upon completion of the inspection of the vessel.

The 400-meter-long vessel ran aground on March 24 due to bad weather, and several tugboats were involved in efforts to float the ship again.
Following the incident, hundreds of ships were in a waiting position for the opening of the Suez Canal, and the logistics sector was hit hardest.
