Two people died as a result of the collapse of a 4-storey building in a natural gas explosion in a town on the Italian island of Sicily. It was stated that the search and rescue efforts in the wreckage, where two people were rescued, are continuing.

A natural gas explosion occurred in a 4-storey building at night in the town of Ravanusa, in the city of Agrigento on the Sicily Island of Italy. As a result of the collapse of the building, which caused a fire due to the explosion, the residents of the building were left under the rubble.

It was stated that the fire was extinguished in a short time by firefighters. As a result of the work of the search and rescue teams, 2 women were rescued from under the rubble, while the lifeless bodies of a man and a woman were found.

While it is learned that the search efforts continue in the wreckage, it is not known how many people are under the rubble. On the other hand, it was stated that due to the explosion, 2 buildings in the vicinity were damaged.
