Billionaire Karl-Yerevan Haub, head of the retail group, has died three years after he disappeared in the Swiss Alps, a German court has heard.
Billionaire Karl-Yerevan Haub, 58, disappeared three years ago under the famous Matterhorn summit on Switzerland’s southern border with Italy.
Haub was training for ski races.
Haub was last seen skiing and backpacking in 2018 and was reported missing to police the next morning after he failed to show up at his hotel in Zermatt, Switzerland.
Haub’s family lost hope for Haub, who was never found despite all the searches.
Six months later, the search was officially called off.
A German court officially declared Haub dead three years after his disappearance.
