A $1 million lottery has been launched in the US state of Ohio to encourage vaccinations.
Vaccination efforts against Covid-19, which entered our lives in the last days of 2019, continue all over the world.
However, the rapidly increasing anti-vaccination pandemic is a major obstacle in the fight against the pandemic.
An interesting step has been taken in the UNITED States against this situation. A $1 million lottery has been launched in the US state of Ohio to encourage vaccinations.
With the official announcement, it was announced that $1 million will be given to 5 people who have been vaccinated against coronavirus.
The winners of the lottery will receive a 4-year university scholarship.
The statement came from Ohio Governor Mike DeWine of the Republican Party. DeWine announced through the Secretary of State that the sweepstakes will begin on May 26.
DeWine said this amount will be paid by federal coronavirus relief funds.
