A leak in an oxygen supply tank at an Indian hospital has left 22 patients without oxygen.

According to New Delhi Television (NDTV), there was a leak in the oxygen tank supplying oxygen to patients at Zakir Hussain Hospital, where Covid-19 patients are staying in the Nashik district of the state.
As a result of the leakage, the tank emptied and the patients in question could not be given oxygen for about half an hour. Twenty-two patients died.
Thirty-one of the patients continued to be treated with oxygen support and were taken to a nearby hospital.
As an investigation into the incident was launched, images posted to social media showed the gas concentrated around the hospital.
