The female motorcyclist who went viral in Japan has been identified as a 50-year-old man. The lie of the man known on Twitter as ‘azusagakuyuki’ was discovered thanks to the reflection in the mirror.
Twitter user ‘azusagakuyuki’, who posted on his motorbike in Japan and was praised for his beauty, turned out to be a man.
The Twitter user’s lie came to light after careful followers noticed that the reflection of ‘azusagakuyuki’ in the mirror was male.
A television show in the country then found out that azusagakuyuki was actually a 50-year-old man named Zonggu.
Everyone on the show was stunned when the driver took off his helmet.
Zonggu admitted to changing his face using a photo editing app called FaceApp following the news.
Zonggu, whose cover was revealed, said on Sitting Up Late Monday that no one wanted to see an old man, so he used the app to become popular on social media.
Zonggu added that his posts used to get 10 likes, and after using the app, the number of likes increased to 1000.
Interestingly, Zonggu became much more famous when his true identity was revealed.
After the announcement on the show, social media users commented such as “I watched the TV show and became a fan”, “You have magical skills”.
