In the 1980s, American rocket physicist Wernher von Braun wrote a novel about life on Mars and what human society would be like. An aerospace engineer, Braun was born in Germany in 1912. In 1953, he wrote Project Mars: A Technical Tale. Mars and Elon Musk in the work drew attention to the details.
The sci-fi novel tells the story of a journey to Mars in the middle of the Cold War. In the novel, the person who will lead a life on Mars is called “Elon”. It is thought that the phrase “Elon” in the book may be a title, not a name.
We know Elon musk was born in 1971. However, Wernher von Braun wrote the novel from 1949 to 1953. The project in the novel and the SpaceX project bear great similarities. Is this a coincidence? Another reason it’s considered an Elon Musk prophecy is a tweet sent last year.
In December 2020, Elon Musk posted on Twitter, “Fate, Destiny. There’s no escape! This is for me,” she posted. Not long after the exchange, an aerospace engineer, Toby Li, replied, “Speaking of fate, did you know von Braun was referring to a person named Elon who would bring humans to Mars in his 1953 book “Project Mars”?”
Elon Musk answered the question with a questionable approach: “Are we sure it’s real?” Another Twitter user said, “Yes, it’s real. This book has been translated into English,” he posted in another image. In the image, Elon highlighted the paragraph in which his statement was mentioned twice.
Elon Musk’s prophecy is contained in the “How to Manage Mars” novel “Mars Project: A Technical Story”. “The leader of the Mars government is elected by general election for five years. Mars is ruled by ten people named “Elon”.” But it may not be coincidental that Elon Musk’s name was mentioned in a sci-fi project written years ago. Do you think this is just a coincidence? Don’t forget to state your thoughts in the comments.
