China’s Tianwen-1 spacecraft has successfully landed on Mars. China thus became the first country after the United States to land a vehicle on the surface of Mars.
The rivalry between the U.S. and China has also moved into space after earth. The U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Perseverance spacecraft continues its exciting work on the Red Planet, while a mini-helicopter called Ingenuity has made numerous flights.
While NASA has been bringing about developments in the work, there has been a warm development regarding China’s mission to Mars. China’s Tianwen-1 spacecraft has successfully landed on Mars. China is the second country after the United States to do so. China’s National Space Administration (CNSA) also confirmed that the landing was a success.
The Zhurong rover Tianwen-1 has delivered to Mars will study life and water traces on Mars.
China’s Mission to Mars, called Tianwen-1, was approved by the government in 2016. Launched on June 23, 2020, Tianwen-1 sent the first photo of Mars on February 5, 2021.
