Greece announced the lifting of the quarantine requirement for visitors from the United States, the United Kingdom, Serbia, the UAE, and Israel, especially EU countries that will enter the country from May 14th.
Greece says foreign tourists who come to the country on holiday will be exempt from the quarantine obligation from May 14th.
The Athens government has released a list of countries where the quarantine requirement for foreign tourists entering the country will be lifted.
Greek Tourism Minister Haris Theoharis said there would be no 7-day quarantine for visitors from the United States, the United Kingdom, Serbia, the UAE, and Israel, especially the European Union (EU) countries that will enter the country from that date.
Meanwhile, Noticias Marias, a former member of the European Parliament and leader of the ‘Greece – Another Way’ party, proposed abolishing visas for Russian tourists to increase the flow of tourists to Athens.
