German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier said at the ceremony, “The vaccine you have developed is a service to humanity. That’s why we’re here now. This vaccine not only saves lives, but also saves the continuation of humanity’s social life.” “Your story is the best inspiration for mankind,” Steinmeier said, adding that Germany would contain the epidemic.
