Watch Dogs: Legion is making several improvements to achieve a next-generation performance boost. Ubisoft has announced that it will support speeds of 60 frames per second (FPS) on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X as part of the anarchic adventure’s upcoming 4.5 game update.
Watch Dogs: Legion was introduced as a next-generation launch game with ray tracing and 4K resolution, but failed to reach 30 FPS or higher on Sony and Microsoft’s next-generation consoles.
Ubisoft, the game’s developer, says this is one of the biggest requests of the next generation of console players. Ubisoft also continues to release next-generation updates for other popular games, such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Rainbow Six Siege, which targets 120 FPS in dynamic 4K resolution.
Legion’s 4.5 update also addresses a series of bugs related to the DLC character, hero Mina Sidhu, introduced in the 4.0 game update earlier this month.
In addition, Ubisoft is adding a new Tactical Operation called Project OMNI. The developer has not released a release date for the new update. He also said the patch notes would be released soon before launch.
