Ubisoft today announced the free game The Division: Heartland, set in the Division universe. The new game will retain previous Division mechanics. The game will come to PCs and consoles. Ubisoft surprisingly announced the game. Normally, such announcements would be specific to launches. There is also no clear information about the game’s release date.
The Division: Heartland runs from 2021 to 2022
The new free game called The Division: Heartland will be released between 2021 and 2022. There is no clarity on the release date yet. Heartland is independent of previous games and built on the basic mechanics of The Division. It can be played for one person or up to four people.
The game’s development is being led by the Red Storm Entertainment studio, which has worked on the first and second games of the series and has close ties to Tom Clancy licenses. No trailer or screenshot of Heartland has been released. Ubisoft also plans to bring the universe to an even wider audience by bringing The Division series to mobile platforms.
Division 2 will receive new content with an update to be released in late 2021. With this new content coming, a completely new game mode will be added. New methods will also be added to enable agents to level up.
