Recently, it went on physical sale in Tokyo, Japan, with limited stock in a shopping area called Akihabara. The PlayStation 5, sold in the electronics store Yodobashi Camera, caused a huge stampede.
As you can watch in the videos below, there is a serious crowd in the store. It’s also really amazing that there is such a crowd despite the epidemic. Sony announced that the console would not be physically sold for a while on the day it came out. It is also clear from these videos why Sony made such a decision.
According to the statement, people in the video are only eligible to buy the PlayStation 5 by buying a raffle ticket. I mean, the thought of it as an early taker was not followed. Everyone who came in was given a number and the people who came up with the number as a result of the sweepstakes were granted the right to buy. At the end of this stampede, the sale was cancelled.
It is known that the PlayStation 5’s stock will be limited until the middle of this year. We can watch many more videos like this in the process.
