Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan made the remarks that excited PlayStation 5 owners in a recent interview.
Sony’s new generation console has been available for several months, but most players complain that there are no games to play, as they do with every generation transition. PlayStation, which is especially popular with special games, has not yet released an exciting game.
Recently, Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan issued a statement that excited the players. Jim Ryan says they’re going to make a lot more special games for the PlayStation 5 generation than older generations. He added that just as they bought Spider-Man’s studio Insomniac Games, they could buy more studios in the future.
Sony has made new games for the PlayStation 4 generation, including God of War, Uncharted, and The Last of Us, while also releasing new IPs such as Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn, Spider-Man, and Ghost of Tsushima. We hope that we can see new IPs of as high quality as these games.
Returnal, the first of the PlayStation exclusive games expected to be released later this year, will be released on April 30. In addition to this game, Ratchet &Clank: Rift Apart and Horizon Forbidden West are expected to debut later this year.
