CD Projekt Red has delayed the version of The Witcher 3, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition, which will be released for next-gen consoles, in a statement it made recently.

Bad news came from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition, the next-generation version of The Witcher 3, published and developed by CD Projekt Red.

As you know, CD Projekt Red has been working on the next-generation version of both Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 for a while. Cyberpunk 2022 debuted last month, The Witcher 3 was expected to be released before June 2022. However, the new generation version was delayed to an indefinite date in the past hours.

This project was previously owned by Saber Interactive, but CD Projekt shared that they bought the project from them and will develop it in the studio. This is the reason for the delay. Unfortunately, the reason for the project’s acquisition from Saber Interactive was not disclosed. The next-gen version of The Witcher 3 will include many technical improvements. It also looks like we will see cosmetics inspired by the series.
