The Sensor Tower company, which we previously hosted in our news such as the number of downloads and earnings of mobile games and applications, listed the most downloaded smartphone games in the world in August this year.

When we look at the most downloaded games in the world in August, two games from the hands of the Voodoo studio managed to enter the list. So, what are the most downloaded games of August? Let’s see which statistics stand out in these games.

August’s most downloaded mobile games

According to Sensor Tower data, it was Scribble Rider from Voodoo, the world’s most downloaded mobile game. The game has been downloaded 44.6 million times on the Google Play Store and App Store. India was the country that downloaded the game the most in August, with 16.7 million downloads in August.

Brain Wash, by Say Games, became the second most downloaded game of August. The game has been downloaded 30 million times during this period, making India the country where the game was downloaded the most. The country that followed India was the USA. Voodoo’s second game, Cube Surfer, took third place on the list. Other most downloaded games of August are as follows: Subway Surfers, Tie Dye, Log Thrower, My Talking Tom Friends, Fruit Clinic, Among Us, Garene Firee Fire.

The noteworthy game here was Among Us, by InnerSloth. Amons Us, the 5th most downloaded game of the month in the App Store, ranked 9th in total downloads. The total download rate of the game increased by 661% compared to the previous month. The reason why the game, which was normally released in 2018, suddenly attracted attention was the interest of YouTube and Twitch publishers.
