Blizzard may have leaked the possible release date of the popular role-playing game WoW (World of Warcraft): The Burning Crusade Classic expansion. According to screenshots that appeared on Battle.net, the expansion will be available to users at the beginning of summer.
Blizzard’s World of Warcraft Classic launcher highlighted several notifications for Burning Crusade that set the release date to June 1, 2021, according to the leak, which several users from Reddit have identified.
Users who witnessed the leak mentioned that notifications were quickly withdrawn when anything was clicked. The allegations seem likely to be true, as the game has been plagued by such leaks in the past.
Burning Crusade was the first World of Warcraft expansion that began in 2007 and opened the Dark Portal to Outland. With the new expansion, users will also have the option to hang out in Azeroth or enter Outland. On the other hand, it will be possible to divide the WoW Classic into two different timelines. If players want to stay in the 2004 version, Burning Crusade will be able to move its blacks to the ‘Era realm’ before it arrives. However, it will be possible to experience two realms for a fee.
If the allegations for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic are true and this is to be released in June, blizzard has little time left to make an official announcement. Therefore, many players continue to level up their characters.
