Metacritic, which compiles review scores for entertainment content such as games, movies and series and gives an average score, announced the best gaming companies of 2020 in terms of the scores their games received.
Metacritic’s list shows the top 10 gaming companies based on average ratings of games published by publishers over a 12-month period. At the top of the list is Sega, an old name in the gaming world. In 2020, Sega released games such as the PC version of Persona 4 Golden (87), Football Manager 2021 (85) and Yakuza Like a Dragon (83).
Second place on the list is If Found… (84) and I am Dead (77) publisher Annapurna Interactive. Looking a little lower, we see Sony and Microsoft, which the players think are in great competition.
