A YouTuber used modes and expensive PC tracks to get 8K ray tracing in Red Dead Redemption 2. It made the game look almost real.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has captivated the gaming industry on many fronts, especially with its impressive models, textures, and artistic aspects, but ray tracing and 8K resolution have taken the game to the next level. Red Dead Redemption 2 was released in 2018 and is Rockstar’s latest game. Realism is one of the things that the game is best known for, largely because of the incredible detail and attention given to things like world design and historical accuracy.

The game has managed to lead the industry in many ways, including graphical abilities, characters, story, technical success, voice acting, and more. Red Dead Redemption 2 tells the story of Arthur Morgan and the dangerous gang he travels with as they try to keep their way of life alive in the face of industrialization and urbanization in the west.

The game has tons of western action and lawlessness along the way, featuring themes of family, brotherhood, and friendship. Most critics and fans have praised the game over the past few years, and even now, the games continue to reveal the beauty of Rockstar’s masterpiece.

A year after the initial launch of Red Dead Redemption 2, the PC version opened the door to better hardware. Recently, a YouTuber named Digital Dreams ran the game on a PC monster with ray tracing re-shading mode. Red Dead Redemption II has never looked so stunning. 8K resolution has also done wonders for the game’s realism, something far beyond what most industry can do, even on Xbox One and PS4. Digital Dreams’ hardware included a Ryzen 9 3900x processor and an RTX 3090 graphics card, some of the latest computer components available today.

This would not have been possible without the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2. Whenever a complex and comprehensive game enters pc markets, the gaming community likes to work on modes. Games like Skyrim may have a special place in the hearts of modists, but Red Dead Redemption 2 certainly has modes that deserve praise. Modes like Raytracing Reshader add new dimensions to PC games and allow players to experience their favorite games in new and exciting ways.

Even in games like Red Dead Redemption II, which are largely considered almost perfect by critics, there is always room for interesting modes to change things. The beauty of mods is that they are usually complementary, so they only contribute to what developers manage to do. In the case of Red Dead Redemption II, it’s hard to overshadow what Rockstar has put together, but the ability to play the game in almost photorealistic 8K is certainly an extra beauty that players can appreciate.
