The new Assassin’s Creed game, which will be released later this year, has been featured on the famous e-commerce site Amazon. The leak shows that the highly anticipated production was called “Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok – Valhalla Edition.”
Some reports last year claimed that the new Assassin’s Creed, which will launch in 2020 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC platforms, will take players to the Viking country. Only time will tell if this is true; however, the new leak appears to strengthen these claims.
The leak is at the center of the Amazon Germany. In the shared screenshots, we see a game called ‘Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok – Valhalla Edition’. Unfortunately, we don’t know for now whether this is real or fake; however, when we take into consideration the past leaks, we can say that the accuracy is quite high.
We have many reasons to believe that the new Assassin’s Creed game will be Nordic themed. There will be those who remember; this wind of speculation was first initiated by a player in The Division 2. In a poster in the game signed by Ubisoft, we saw a Scandinavian god holding the Eden of Apple from the Assassin’s Creed series.
In-game poster seen on The Division 2:
The next day, a report from one of the leading game industry journalists appeared, and the series was reported to be indeed Viking-themed. And now, in the Amazon, which appears as Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok – Valhalla Edition, the game points to the fact that the new ring can really pass in Scandinavia.
Nevertheless, it is worth noting that all these developments are informal. The new Assassin’s Creed is scheduled to be announced at the E3 2020 event next June. Until then, we will continue to share with you if new information becomes available.
