Sega has announced the date judgment will release its sequel. According to this statement, “Lost Judgment”, the new game of Yakuza’s byproduct Judgment, will be released on September 24.
Judgment continues just a few years after the release of the original game. In the sequel, Takayuki Yagami will go undercover at a high school called “Lost Judgment.” So the story of the brawling detective Takayuki Yagami, who has another horrific murder to solve, picks up where he left off.
Coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/Series S on September 24, Lost Judgment is set in two main locations: Kamurocho’s fictional Tokyo region and the new location Yokohama.
The game will have day-night cycles. Yagami will have more fighting styles, privacy, and mobility and will return to his skateboard.
As part of his research, he’ll have to sneak into a Yokohama high school. According to Lost Judgment producer Kazuki Hosokawa, Yagami can help students with side missions called School Stories, which balance the serious main story with some “laughter, tears, struggles, and maybe even a little tension.”
These include a dance rhythm mini-game and boxing mission that will bring the lighter elements of the Yakuza to the Judgment saga.
