Gabe Newell also made some remarks about Half-Life: Alyx.
Half-Life: Alyx has been updated on Steam’s sales page, which has now revealed the minimum system requirements. You will be able to see these system requirements immediately below, but first of all we would like to say that the proposed system requirements of the game are not yet clear and you will need to have a virtual realism title on top of these system requirements; this video game can only be played with virtual realism technologies.
Here are the minimum system requirements for Half-Life: Alyx
- Operating System: Windows 10 (Probably only 64-bit to be supported.)
- Processor: Intel Core i5-7500 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or equivalent processor.
- Memory: 12 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580 or equivalent.
- Video Memory: 6 GB VRAM
And there’s Gabe Newell. He talked about this video game last day and said, “We are very excited to go back to the Half-Life universe. In addition, our studio has gained much energy thanks to virtual realism. Everyone has an investment in this technology and we are developers on the basis. That’s why we are thrilled to develop a video game for virtual realism. We can’t wait for people to experience this video game. ”
If you look at these explanations, Valve is really excited about this virtual realism game, and after that, the new Half-Life games will definitely come out. For now, we don’t know what this team is thinking for the future, but the video game, which is the subject of our news, will be released in March 2020. We hope that this series will continue to advance over the PC in 2021 or 2022.
