Electronic Arts have added a name that is extremely important to the company for an important task. The general manager of the Call of Duty series took over the Battlefield series.

The first two names that come to mind when we say FPS type in the gaming world are undoubtedly Call of Duty and Battlefield series. We can say that these series of games, which have a similar style, have competed for years. Recently, a major name was put in charge of the Battlefield series.

Byron Beede, managing director of the Call of Duty brand, has switched to Electronic Arts, IGN reported. Byron Beede will serve as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Battlefield at Electronic Arts. Byron Beede previously worked on Destiny besides Call of Duty.

Electronic Arts are currently working on a new Battlefield game. The new Battlefield is expected to be released by the end of this year. EA is also working on a Battlefield game developed for mobile. With this recruitment, EA looks like it’s going to try to grow its Battlefield brand even further.
