Dying Light 2 will come with Image and Performance modes on the next generation of consoles
In a new interview with Wccftech, Techland provided new information about Dying Light 2. In the interview, developers were asked if Dying Light 2 would support 4K graphics and 60 fps mode on PS5 and Xbox Series X. “There will be Quality mode (including Ray tracing), Performance mode (60+ Fps) and 4K mode,” render director Tomasz Szałkowski replied.
Szałkowski said they are currently working performance improvements and could not provide further details. The developer team will take full advantage of the power of the next generation of consoles.
How long will the Dying Light 2 main story last?
In the interview, Chief Game Designer Tymon Smektała was asked how many hours players would spend in the main story and side missions. “If you hurry, you can finish the story in about 20 hours. But if you want to see more than that, you have to spend 2-3 times the 20 hours. If you want to explore everywhere in the starting area of the game, you need to spend 7-8 hours here as well.” Techland broke the silence of dying light 2’s development process with this interview, delighting fans of the series.
