The 2021 Peugeot 308, which recently partially lifted its cover, was officially unveiled today. We can say that the new generation 308, which comes with brand new design, technology and engine gamut, has almost evolved.

The 2021 Peugeot 308 was refurbished under stellantis and built on the group’s EMP2 platform. When we look at the dimensions, we see that the axle distance is 55 mm (2672 mm) longer than its predecessor. In addition, the height of the new generation 308, which has been made more dynamic, has been reduced by as much as 20 mm. On the other hand, there are about 50 mm more in width than before. While all this is being done, the aerodynamic structure is maintained and even the air friction coefficient is reduced to 0.28.

The 2021 Peugeot 308 is the first model to carry the brand’s new logo on it. When we look at the front of the new generation model, we see a brand new design with thin headlights, downward daytime headlights and frameless blinds. Led lighting and vertical LED daytime headlights will be standard in all versions of the new 308, according to the statement. The GT and GT Premium versions will feature Peugeot Matrix LED technology.

In this context, the 10-inch digital display display comes with 3D graphics in GT versions. There is also a 10-inch touch infotainment display in the center of the console.

Peugeot’s new i-Connect multimedia software package has found its place in the new 308. The system allows to create eight different driver profiles and also has a wireless display mirroring function. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, USB ports, wireless smartphone charging unit and voice command are among the features that come up in this area.

The entry-level Hybrid 180 e-EAT8 has a 150-horsepower 1.6-liter PureTech gasoline unit and an 81 kW electric motor combination, resulting in a total of 180 horsepower. This front-wheel drive version has a pure electric driving range of 60 kilometers. The Hybrid 225 e-EAT8 has a different 180-horsepower gasoline unit. This resulted in a total of 225 horsepower.
