The car market, which comes up with a new design approach, stands out with its 2D logo designs. Introducing its concept cars at the Renaulution event, Renault came up with a new logo inspired by its logo, which it introduced in 1925.
After Skoda, Nissan, Kia, General Motors and Peugeot, Renault also appeared in front of car enthusiasts with its new logo. Automakers, which introduced their new logos along with electric vehicle breakthroughs, are notable for their radical change.
Gilles Vidal, Renault Design Director, said, “The Renault 5 model was a challenging process for us. The positive feedback we received regarding the logo led to the rapid progress of the logo change. The reactions we received were really motivating. ” he said.
It is described as a refurbished version of the logo, which the company first introduced in 1925, using the shape of a diamond. The horizontal strips in the first design with the form of diamonds were gradually removed in 1972.
The logo, which first appeared in the ZOE model, will be available on all Renault models after 2024. As with other companies, the new logo, which has a 2D design concept, was liked by many people.
One of the biggest reasons for the change is electric vehicle reform and a new design trend, analysts said, adding that the remaining automakers will face similar changes.
