The rumors that have been going on for months have finally been made official. General Motors has released a short teaser video confirming that the legendary model Hummer is back.
According to the shared video, the introduction of the new Hummer will be made in May 2020. There is not much information about the vehicle yet, but we know that Hummer will be back as an all-electric pickup. The monster in question will be a machine that produces 1000 horsepower and 15,500 Nm of torque (possibly wheel torque), but runs quietly on the roads.
Another information given is that the electric Hummer pickup will complete the acceleration of 0-100 km / h in 3 seconds. The vehicle, which will come out in May, will probably be a preview model. We can expect the mass production version to be introduced in 2021 and be offered for sale in the autumn of the same year.

The electric pickup market comes alive day by day. First we were excited with Rivian’s impressive model R1T, then Tesla Cybertruck. Ford is preparing a fully electric version of the most popular model in the USA, the F-150. Apparently, GM is seeking to partner with this eternal rivalry with the electric Hummer pickup.
