Peugeot, one of France’s largest car companies, and Italian giant Fiat have finally joined forces. Here’s the name of the new company that came up.
There have been rumors for some time that Peugeot and Fiat would merge. In fact, the first concrete steps were taken for these transactions. Eventually, these concrete steps be made official and the merger of the two companies was completed.
It was mentioned that the new company name that emerged with this merger will serve under the name Stellantis. Stellannis will host a total of 14 brands under its roof. The cars to be produced under the name Stellantis are as follows; Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroën, Dodge, DS, Fiat, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Opel, Peugeot, Ram and Vauxhall.

It’s important to make an important point here. The names of cars or models will not change after the merger of Peıgeot and Fiat. Only the company name will change. Fiat, for example, was previously called Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Peugeot was traded under the name Peugeot S.A.
Following this merger, both company names will have changed to Stellantis. Stellantis is the 4th largest company in the world on the annual production side. It’s the manufacturer. Currently, Volkswagen, Toyota and Renault – Nissan – Mitsubishi were the world’s largest first manufacturers.
It is currently unknown if Stellantis will outsm leave these rivals behind in the future. In the end, we’ll just have to wait and see.
